Weapon Rules

MELEE

  • Any unmodified melee weapon made by a known creator is eligible.
  • No custom dual wield weapons. They must be sold as duel to be allowed.
  • No home made weapons. If the other rp'rs don't have access to buy it in a retail environment, then it is not allowed to be used on the sim.

No Stacking Melee weapons!
Wearing melee weapons such as claws on wrists and another melee weapon in hand is illegal. Guns and Melee may be worn at the same time BUT not drawn at the same time. If you are fighting someone in melee and wish to switch to ranged, you must withdraw/holster your melee weapon(s) and draw your gun(s). At NO TIMES should both melee and ranged be used in combat at the same time.

KEEP IT REALISTIC

  • No push, you MUST be able to turn off the push aspect or you cannot use the weapon.
  • Disable all particles where possible to reduce lag, makes for a better experience for us all
  • No melee bullet scripts. Creators such as Hanzo Blades have a bullet script which can be turned off, if you cannot turn off the bullet script (such as Samurai Island weaponry), then the weapon cannot be used.

FIREARMS

GUN SETTING REQUIREMENTS

  • RP Bullet (Sometimes referred to as Damage or Training, check weapon instructions)
  • Reload on
  • Shell/Clip/Casing Ejections turned off (helps reduce lag and temp prim count)
  • No Push Rounds
  • No more than 50 rounds per clip/Reload
  • No unlimited ammo
  • Semi or Burst settings only, no Full-Auto
  • NO HOME MADE FIREARMS - WEAPONS MUST BE SOLD BY A REPUTABLE MANUFACTURER BEFORE THEY CAN BE CONSIDERED FOR USE

All weapons may be subject to inspection by GMs and the rulings on their use will be assessed by all GMs. If you are unsure, ASK.

Any of the firearms available from Carlos Inc and Black Ops are usable with the exception of the following;

SPECIAL NOTE ON BREACH WEAPONS
Breach weapons are beautiful, yes, but they unfortunately are high-prim and the scripting lags more than other available weaponry so they are advised against.

MAGIC

No combat magic is allowed. This means no magic/mage HUDS/wands/staffs/etc. No exceptions!

WEAPON ATTACHMENT

Do not attach weapons all over your body. The most you can do is DUAL wield, two swords, two guns. Attaching weapons beyond what you could legally use in combat only adds to the lag.

Wearing claws & guns on your forearms/hands are acceptable because technically you cannot melee and shoot at the exact same time. No more than 1 shooting device (or 2 if sold in pairs) may be attached at once and no more than 1 melee device (or 2 if sold in pairs) maybe be attached at once.

ILLEGAL WEAPON DISPLAY

If you have an illegal weapon, do not wear it either in your hand or holstered/slung (even if you’re not using it). It still adds to the lag and may give the impression to other players that the weapon is legal to use.
